      <title>Alternate Plumbing and Gas Inspector - Town of Charlton, MA</title>
      <description><![CDATA[<p>The Town of Charlton is seeking to fill a vacancy for an alternate plumbing and gas inspector to assist the current Inspector. The alternate inspector will assist the current inspector with inspections to ensure residential and commercial buildings are conforming with legal requirements, state codes and safe practices. The alternate inspector will have frequent contact with property owners, contractors, inspectors, municipal departments and many others and must maintain and effective working relationship, while enforceing the codes and laws. The position requires frequent travel throughout the Town. The hours are varied and dependent on the needs of the department and inspections required.
